Lucy Bedroque Seattle Concert reviews
Theatrics were great, sound and vocals terrible
Lucy Bedroque was ready to rock and tear the house down on a beautiful summer night in the Allentown Fair grandstand. A full crowd of beer drinking fans filled the track and the grandstand with Alice Cooper doing a great job warming them up during his hour long set. All hits and great theatrics, wish he could have played longer.
A wonderful sight and sound show is coming for the next two hours as Lucy Bedroque comes out to a thunderous applause with fireworks, smoke bombs, and all kind of crazy lighting. His singing was hardly heard over all the fireworks, flames and drums. The only bad thing was that Vince's vocals were way overpowered by the sound level of the guitars and drums, making it a really poor night for listening to Lucy Bedroque.
But there was great fire power in the fireworks, smoke bombs, fire balls, fire shooting guitars, and girls, girls, girls, that did make the show enjoyable. As far as seeing Lucy Bedroque, well there was so much fog coming behind Tommy Lee, and since he was being backlit the whole night, you could not see him at all, just his shadow, which was a cool effect, but not for the whole night.
Being our seats were in the center of the grandstand and the speakers were pointed in our direction, the vocal sound should have been much better. Tommy's drum kit did not move, and there was no boob cam, surely a highlight of other tours. A fun show to watch but not to listen to.
